Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to MOMS Mobile Oil Change ("MOMS"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding legal agreement between you ("Customer", "You") and MOMS governing your use of our mobile automotive services and any related applications, websites, inspection tools, and communications. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

2. Services Offered

MOMS offers on-location vehicle maintenance services, including but not limited to:

  • Full synthetic oil changes
  • Fleet service management
  • Preventative maintenance inspections
  • Diagnostic scans and general vehicle condition reports
  • Partner-referred services such as detailing, brakes, or tire rotations

Services are provided at homes, workplaces, or commercial lots, based on scheduling availability and safety of the work environment.

3. Scheduling & Communication

Customers may book through our website, by phone, or via a dedicated booking link. Confirmation, reminders, and follow-ups may be delivered via SMS, email, or phone call. All bookings are subject to approval and availability. Inspection summaries may include video, photos, reminders, and promotional offers.

4. Pricing & Payment Terms

Service pricing is based on vehicle type, oil volume, location, and add-on services. Prices are disclosed before confirmation. Payment is due upon service completion unless prior agreement has been made. We accept credit/debit cards, approved fleet invoicing, and mobile payment solutions. Prices include applicable taxes, disposal fees, and service charges unless otherwise stated.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Customers must cancel at least 24 hours before the appointment to avoid a $25 cancellation fee. Same-day cancellations or inaccessible vehicles may incur a $35 dispatch fee. Refunds are issued at MOMS’ discretion and are limited to service failures or verified issues. No refund will be issued for missed appointments due to customer inaction.

6. Service Warranty

MOMS provides a 30-day warranty on services performed. This warranty excludes damage caused by pre-existing conditions, user negligence, or third-party repairs. Warranty claims must include documentation and must be submitted within 30 days of service.

7. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure your vehicle is accessible and parked legally in a safe, flat location
  • Provide accurate booking, vehicle, and contact information
  • Disclose any existing mechanical issues that could impact service
  • Keep pets, children, and bystanders away from the service area

8. Limitations of Liability

MOMS is not liable for damages resulting from hidden mechanical defects, prior repairs, or service refusal by the customer. Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in dispute. Photos and videos may be used to document service conditions and retained for liability review.

9. Media Capture & AI Processing

Technicians may capture photos and videos for documentation, inspection sharing, and customer transparency. MOMS may use AI tools such as Google Vision and Whisper to generate reports, identify vehicle issues, and enhance customer communication. Customers consent to such media usage when they accept service.

10. Promotions & Referrals

MOMS may issue time-limited discounts, referral rewards, and rebooking incentives. All promotional offers are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and subject to change without notice. Abuse or misuse of offers may result in account restriction or denial of service.

11. Data Use & Privacy

We collect and store your information to facilitate bookings, generate inspection reports, send reminders, and process payments. Your data is not sold to third parties. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time. Full details are provided in our Privacy Policy.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from service shall be handled through mediation or arbitration before escalating to formal legal action. Jurisdiction is based on the state where MOMS Mobile Oil Change is headquartered.

13. Modifications to Terms

MOMS may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes indicates acceptance of the new terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically for updates.
